Introduction to Aeroflot
Aeroflot's history can be traced back to 1923, with the first route linking Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. In 1956, they introduced their first jets for domestic and international routes. The airline alone serves 131 destinations in 50 countries and with the recently formed alliance with Skyteam, is able to reach 1057 destinations in 179 countries.

Aeroflot travel classes
The airline has three different travel classes: Economy Class, Comfort Class, and Business Class.

Check-in & Baggage
Passengers can check-in online with a boarding pass, from 24 hours to 1.5 hours before departure. It is also possible to check-in on your mobile phone. You can use this feature on all domestic Russian flights from Moscow Sheremetyevo and from St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport. This service is not possible for passengers travelling with children under 2 years old and unaccompanied minors. Self check-in machines are available at the Moscow airport Sheremetyevo, St Petersburg, and Kaliningrad.
