Introduction to Air Europa
Air Europa is the largest Spanish owned airline, famous for making Latin America accessible with extremely competitive prices, quality customer service and quick connection times. Air Europa is based in Madrid with additional hubs in Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, and Tenerife's Reina Sofia International Airport (TFS). The airline has an extensive domestic network, especially to the Canary Islands, as well as international service to Europe, Africa, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America.
The airline offers a twice-daily service from Dublin Gatwick to Madrid Barajas, allowing UK passengers to take advantage of speedy connections to a portfolio of exciting destinations across South America and the Caribbean.
Long-haul routes include daily flights to Buenos Aires, Santo Domingo and Lima, and five flights per week to Salvador de Bahia in Brazil with connections to Santiago de Chile, Santa Cruz in Bolivia, and Montevideo in Uruguay. Additionally, the airline has recently started a new route to Sao Paulo, Brazil’s economic capital, which operates five times weekly as of the 16th December 2013.
Air Europa was recently named "the second most punctual in the world", by the independent organization FlightStats, based on statistics from March 2014. Furthermore, after being named Airline of the Year to South America, Air Europa has been chosen as the Best Economy Airline to South America 2013 by Business Destinations Awards, as decided by a vast and diverse cross section of primary users of corporate travel.Sustainability is also a top priority: the airline has been recognized by independent German organization AtmosFair as the most environmentally efficient in the world for medium and long haul flights.
As part of the SkyTeam Alliance, the airline offers its passengers access to a global network of international hubs and connections.
