Introduction to Air Namibia

The national carrier of the Republic of Namibia, Air Namibia traces its roots back to 1946 and offers service to both Namibia as well as to onward international points in southern Africa. Connections to other domestic points in Nambia operate out of Windhoek's Eros Airport (ERS) and include Walvis Bay, Ondangwa, Mpacha, Oranejumd, and Luderitz. Additional international flights operating out of Windhoek's Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) include Cape Town, Johannesburg, Luanda, Maun, and Victoria Falls. Air Namibia also flies directly from Oranjemund to Cape Town. Transportation between the two airports in Windhoek is available by either bus or taxi.
