Introduction to Hong Kong Airlines
Not to be confused with Hong Kong Airways, Air Hong Kong or Hong Kong Express Airways, Hong Kong Airlines was established in 2001 by Robert Yip of China Rich Holdings. Initially, it was known as CR Airways and operated only helicopter routes across the island city and beyond. In June 2003. the CR Airways became an official airline and made its first passenger flight. Within a year the airline was flying to destination across East Asia such including Laoag, Philippines, Siam Reap, Cambodia, and a range of cities in China such as Wenzhou, Naning, and Jinan.

Hong Kong Airlines travel classes
Hong Kong Airlines operates two travel classes: Economy Class and Business Class. The airline is part of the Fortune Wings Club, a frequent flyer programme run by Hainan Airlines. All Hainan subsidiaries are part of the programme as well as Air Berlin and Etihad Airways.

Check-in & Baggage
It is possible to check in online or at the airport. Usually, the counters are open 2.5 hours before the flight departs and close 40 minutes before departure time.
