MIAT Mongolian Airlines flights

MIAT Mongolian Airlines had its beginnings in 1925 linked to the Mongolian Air Force. It is the national airline of Mongolia operating domestic and international service. Domestic service changes with the seasons due to severe weather conditions. Since road and rail transportation is not well developed, domestic air transportation plays a key role in Mongolia and MIAT is responsible for 99% of it. Russian made An-24's and An-26's serve the more than 20 domestic cities. International destinations Berlin, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo, Moscow and Irkutsk are served from the base in Mongolia's capital Ulaanbaatar, Chinggis Khaan International Airport with Boeing 737-800s and Airbus 310-300s. A selection of audio and video in-flight entertainment is available on international flights.
