In one of the many temples in Bangkok, you will find a golden statue of David Beckham built into the altar. No jokes.
The story goes that the statue was added to the temple in 1998 during the football World Cup celebrations. You can even clearly see the sponsors engraved onto Beckham's shirt. Maybe you'll bump into the real David Beckham when you are there...

8. The Grand Palace
One of the most famous landmarks in Bangkok is the Grand Palace, with incredibly beautiful and intricate buildings. The former residence of the Thai Royal Family is now only used occasionally for ceremonies and is well worth a visit.
9. Reclining Buddha
If you are at the Grand Palace, then don't forget to go to Wat Pho and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The Buddha is 46m long and is a sight to behold. Enjoy the tranquillity and calmness of the Temple, and escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy city life.
10. Calypso Bangkok Cabaret Show
There are many cabaret shows in Bangkok, but this one is the most famous. Over 70 transgender artists put on a show full of glitz and glamour. Think sparkly gowns, elaborate headdresses and of course singing and dancing. Prepare to be amazed by this spectacular show!
