Sightseeing in Europe post-COVID-19
Are you thinking about going on a trip this year? Then there is a good chance that your favorite attractions have set a variety of different rules for visitors. Perhaps you need to book in advance, or wear a face mask. Or maybe there is a limit on the number of people who can enter. We did some investigating of some of the major sights in Europe and have all the answers to your questions!

Acropolis, Athens
A visit to the ancient Acropolis should not be missed when you are in Athens. However, if you want to see this piece of history with your own eyes, it is mandatory to wear a face mask and social distance (atleast 2 metres). Moreover, large bags and backpacks should be left in the cloakroom where they will be disinfected. If you want to visit the Acropolis with a large group, bear in mind that the limit is 18 people per group. Tours are avoided as much as possible and replaced by an audio tour. Colosseum, Rome
The Colosseum is the highlight of Rome, and is on everyone's bucketlist. However, if you want to go there now, it is only possible to book your tickets online. There will also be a temperature check at the entrance, and visitors with a temperature above 37.5 degrees will be refused entry. Similar to in the Acropolis, there is a maximum of visitors for groups. For the Colosseum, there is a limit of 14 people per group and a maximum of 600 visitors per day. So be quick if you want to see the Colosseum from the inside! Two more things to remember: Wearing a face mask is mandatory and large bags are not allowed. Szechenyi Baths, Budapest
Are you thinking about going to Budapest? Then you're probably also thinking of thermal baths. One of the most famous thermal baths in Budapest is the beautiful Szechenyi thermal pools. Unlike the first two attractions, Szechenyi does not work with online reservations. Although it's possible to reserve some tickets in advance, normally, tickets are sold at the thermal pools itself. Louvre, Paris
The world famous Louvre in Paris has reopened to visitors! However, if you want to see the Mona Lisa with your own eyes, you must reserve a time slot in advance. In the museum, wearing a face mask is mandatory and social distance must be kept at all times. There is also a maximum of 25 people per group. The museum has also provided several points where visitors can disinfect your hands. This way you can enjoy the impressive art as safely as possible. Europa Park, Rust
Time for a day of fun? Then Europa Park with a size of 133 football fields is the perfect place. It is possible to buy tickets by date only, so that the number of visitors remains limited. Visitors must practice social distancing, and adistance of 1.5 meters is mandatory. Face masks must also be worn, both at the attractions and the restaurants.
